Storage & reconstitution

Before opening

Lyophilised powder is stable at ambient temperature in transit. On arrival, keep sealed vials refrigerated at 2–8 °C, dry and dark. For storage beyond three months, keep at −20 °C.

Reconstitution

Follow your laboratory's own protocol.

After reconstitution

Refrigerate at 2–8 °C and protect from light. Use within 30 days. Discard if the solution becomes cloudy or discoloured.

Research record

Three characterised lines of work

The Ipamorelin / CJC-1295 Blend is a pre-mixed research formulation of two synthetic peptides: Ipamorelin: A pentapeptide growth hormone secretagogue reported to act through a GHRP-like receptor rather than the GHRH receptor, and CJC-1295 (No DAC): A GHRH analog studied for its interaction with the GHRH receptor and its role in pulsatile growth hormone signaling. Each 10 mg vial holds 5 mg of each peptide. Because the two are described as acting at separate receptors, the pair is examined together in experimental models rather than as single agents. Sold for research use only.

01

Ipamorelin component

The original characterisation describes a pentapeptide identified within a series of compounds lacking the central Ala-Trp dipeptide of GHRP-1. In primary rat pituitary cells it released growth hormone with potency and efficacy reported as similar to GHRP-6, at an EC50 of 1.3 nmol/l against 2.2 nmol/l. Profiling with GHRP and GHRH antagonists indicated that release proceeds through a GHRP-like receptor and not through the GHRH receptor.

02

CJC-1295 component

The published human pharmacology of CJC-1295 concerns the form carrying a drug affinity complex, a maleimido group that binds covalently to plasma proteins such as serum albumin and gives conjugates a far longer half-life. Two randomised placebo-controlled trials of that form described dose-dependent increases in mean plasma growth hormone of two- to ten-fold sustained for six days or more. The certificate for this vial names CJC-1295 no DAC, the form without that complex, and anti-doping work treats the two as separate analytes.

03

Two receptors in one vial

The basis for pairing these two is that they are described as reaching the same axis by different doors: a GHRH analogue at the GHRH receptor, and a secretagogue at the GHRP-like receptor that the antagonist work distinguishes from it. A 2026 narrative review of peptide therapies assessed CJC-1295 with ipamorelin as one of the entries in its scope, which records the combination as one that is marketed and used rather than one that has been trialled.

Published research areas

Research area Assay
Receptor pharmacology Antagonist profiling against GHRP and GHRH receptor blockade
Pituitary cell culture Growth hormone release from primary rat somatotropes
Analyte identity In vitro metabolism of GHRH analogues in fortified urine
Detection methods LC-MS/MS after immunoaffinity capture and tryptic digestion

The record is on the two peptides separately. A 2026 review lists CJC-1295 with ipamorelin among the peptide therapies marketed direct to patients, which documents that the pairing is sold and used, not that the pairing has been tested. Two limits carry over from the components and neither is small. The human trials were run on the drug affinity complex form that binds albumin, while the certificate for this vial names CJC-1295 no DAC, so the multi-day durations reported in those trials do not describe what is in it. The ipamorelin characterisation is preclinical, in rat pituitary cells and two animal species, and dates to 1998. GHRH analogues are prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency, and neither compound holds FDA approval.

Regulatory status as of October 2026.

Common questions

Ordering, handling and compliance. Anything not covered here, write to support@pureforgelabs.com.

What does research use only actually mean?

Every compound we sell is supplied for laboratory research and development only. It is not a drug, not a supplement, and not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition in humans or animals. Buying from this site means you are acquiring it for in vitro or other controlled research work.

Who is allowed to order?

Purchasers must be 21 or older and are responsible for compliance with the law where they take delivery. We ship to research institutions, laboratories and qualified individual researchers in the United States only. We do not ship to jurisdictions where these compounds are restricted.

How do I read the certificate of analysis?

Check three things in order. First, the lot code on the certificate matches the lot listed on the product page and in your order. Second, where the report gives an HPLC purity, its chromatogram shows a single dominant peak at the stated figure; a blend's report shows a peak for each compound. Third, where the lab ran mass spectrometry, the measured mass matches the expected molecular weight of the compound. Anything that does not line up, send us the lot code.

How should it be stored?

Unopened vials keep at ambient temperature short term, as in transit; on arrival, refrigerate them at 2–8 °C, and keep them at −20 °C beyond three months. Reconstitute following your laboratory's own protocol; once in solution, refrigerate at 2–8 °C, protect from light and use within 30 days.

When does it ship and how?

Orders are normally prepared for shipment within 1–3 business days and ship to street addresses in the United States only — not to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO/DPO military addresses. Shipping is free on orders over $150 and a flat $14.95 below that.

What payment methods do you take?

We take credit and debit cards, paid securely at checkout. Bank transfers and purchase orders are not available at the moment.

What if a vial arrives damaged?

Keep the vial and all the packaging, photograph the damage and email support@pureforgelabs.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number. Once the claim is verified, we replace the vial or refund what you paid for it. Please do not send anything back unless we ask you to — apart from damaged or incorrect items, all sales are final.

Do you handle bulk and wholesale orders?

Yes, by quote. The volume tiers on the product pages go up to five vials; for larger research quantities email support@pureforgelabs.com with the compounds and amounts, and we will quote per gram.
