Copper-binding tripeptide
GHK is a naturally occurring tripeptide found in human serum, reported at around 200 ng/ml at age 20 and around 80 ng/ml by age 60. It has high affinity for copper and forms the GHK-Cu chelate; both the peptide and the chelate are described as having tissue-remodelling and anti-inflammatory properties in vitro and in vivo.
