Storage & reconstitution

Before opening

Lyophilised powder is stable at ambient temperature in transit. On arrival, store sealed vials in a cool, dry, dark place. For storage beyond three months, keep at −20 °C.

Reconstitution

Add bacteriostatic water slowly down the inner vial wall. Do not shake — swirl gently until fully dissolved.

After reconstitution

Refrigerate at 2–8 °C and protect from light. Use within 30 days. Discard if the solution becomes cloudy or discoloured.

For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary consumption. Not a drug or dietary supplement.

Research record · preclinical

Three characterised lines of work

The BPC 157 TB 500 Blend is a pre-mixed research formulation of two synthetic peptides: BPC-157: A stable pentadecapeptide derived from a gastric cytoprotective protein, and TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4): Full thymosin beta-4 peptide studied for its role in actin regulation and cellular signaling pathways. BPC 157 + TB 500 is widely studied in experimental models on tissue integrity and cellular signaling studies. Pure Forge Labs supplies high-purity, third-party verified BPC157 + TB500 blend designed to ensure reliable and repeatable research results.

01

BPC-157 component

In isolated rat aorta preparations the pentadecapeptide produced concentration-dependent vasodilation that was endothelium-dependent and abolished by L-NAME, with co-immunoprecipitation tracing the response to phosphorylation of Src, caveolin-1 and endothelial nitric oxide synthase. Separately, microarray analysis of rat Achilles tendon fibroblasts identified the growth hormone receptor among the genes whose expression rose most after exposure, confirmed at both mRNA and protein level.

02

Thymosin component

The certificate for this vial names full thymosin beta 4 rather than the shorter TB-500 fragment. The identified molecular function of that protein is sequestration of monomeric G-actin, with a dissociation constant in the micromolar range that allows fast binding and release, and beta-thymosins are described as the main intracellular G-actin-sequestering peptides in most cells. This is the one activity in the pair with an explanation grounded in a defined molecular interaction.

03

Two routes in one vial

Orthopaedic reviews catalogue the two peptides together as wound-healing agents, but the mechanisms described for them do not overlap: one is discussed in terms of nitric oxide and angiogenic signalling, the other in terms of actin monomer binding and the cytoskeleton. Those reviews place the compounds side by side rather than reporting a result from the mixture, so the pairing rests on the two acting through separate routes rather than on a measured combined effect.

In vitro applications

Research area Assay
Nitric oxide signalling Src, caveolin-1 and eNOS phosphorylation in endothelial preparations
Receptor expression Growth hormone receptor and JAK2 profiling in tendon fibroblast culture
Actin dynamics G-actin binding and sequestration assays
Angiogenesis Vessel formation in preclinical tissue and cardiac models
Cell migration Fibroblast outgrowth and motility readouts in tissue-repair models

Everything above was established on the two peptides separately. No controlled study of this mixture was found in the shortlist: the reviews that name both list them alongside one another rather than reporting an outcome from the combination, so any interaction between them is an assumption here and not a finding. One limit is lighter for this vial than for the fragment sold on its own, because the certificate names full thymosin beta 4, which is what most of that literature concerns. The others carry over unchanged. A 2025 systematic review of BPC-157 screened 544 articles published between 1993 and 2024 and included 36 studies, of which 35 were preclinical. Reviews of thymosin beta 4 note variable effect sizes across animal models and call for pharmacokinetic work before clinical development. Neither compound holds FDA approval.

Common questions

Ordering, handling and compliance. Anything not covered here, write to support@pureforgelabs.com.

What does research use only actually mean?

Every compound we sell is supplied for laboratory research and development only. It is not a drug, not a supplement, and not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition in humans or animals. Buying from this site means you are acquiring it for in vitro or other controlled research work.

Who is allowed to order?

Purchasers must be 21 or older and are responsible for compliance with the law where they take delivery. We ship to research institutions, laboratories and qualified individual researchers. We do not ship to jurisdictions where these compounds are restricted.

How do I read the certificate of analysis?

Check three things in order. First, the lot code on the certificate matches the code printed on your vial. Second, the HPLC chromatogram shows a single dominant peak with the stated purity figure. Third, the LC-MS mass matches the expected molecular weight, here 1419.56 g/mol. Anything that does not line up, send us the lot code.

How do I reconstitute and store it?

Add bacteriostatic water slowly down the inner wall of the vial and swirl — never shake. Once in solution, refrigerate at 2–8 °C, protect from light and use within 30 days. Unopened vials keep at ambient temperature short term, or at −20 °C beyond three months.

When does it ship and how?

Orders placed before 2 PM Pacific dispatch the same working day. Domestic delivery is two days, with tracking sent on dispatch. Shipping is free on orders over $200. International orders go out with a commercial invoice; transit is typically five to nine days.

What payment methods do you take?

Institutional purchase orders and bank transfer are available on wholesale accounts — apply through the wholesale programme and we will set up terms.

What if a vial arrives damaged?

Photograph the vial and outer packaging and email us within 48 hours of delivery. We replace damaged or compromised vials at our cost. Unopened vials can be returned within 30 days; opened vials cannot be resold and are not returnable.

Do you handle bulk and wholesale orders?

Yes. Volume pricing on this page runs to five vials; beyond that, a wholesale account gives tiered pricing, reserved lots and consolidated shipping. Reserved lots matter for multi-month studies where you need the same batch throughout.
